Prince Daemon Targaryen was the uncle and husband of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, whose claim he supported in the Dance of the Dragons. He was Rhaenyra’s second husband, following Laenor Velaryon, and she was his third wife. He was a younger son of Baelon Targaryen, and brother to Viserys I.
Born Rhaenyra Waters, she is legitimized within the first few days of her life and given the title Princess of Dragonstone and made Daenerys’ heir, until the young queen had children of her own, at which time she was bestowed with the title of Princess of Summerhall.
