As per the eligibility for joining merchant navy you should be completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
The candidates should be over 150 cm in height for studying and working in merchant navy profession. The candidates with less than 42 kg weight and height below 150 cm will be rejected. So you should be over 150 cm in height and be over 42 kg in weight to be eligible for merchant navy.
