Can I leave my Mtech after one year?

I’m sorry to say that you’ll not be able to get the certificate of successful completion of your Masters if you stop after one year. Because, it comes under discontinue and will not get any certificate. It is advisable to study Mtech without completely leaving it and parallely you can also do the job.

Should I drop one more year for GATE?

Should I quit job for GATE?

Even if you are able to study for quality six hours its good , no need to leave your job. If you are not able to continue then accordingly you can decide. I think its worth taking the risks for gate exam. So you should go for it but there are so many conditions you need to consider.
