yes,one can appear for both NEET and JEE in the same year. Physics and Chemistry are common in both NEET and JEE. You have to study one more subject if you are appearing for JEE i.e Mathematics.

If we take clearing mains as being eligible for advance then its a child’s play.If we consider clearing mains as getting a good college then it could be done but for that you should have a good command over physics and chemistry. I was pcmb student but my focus was NEET from starting so I neglected maths.
