Yes, it’s definitely possible. It does take a lot of time and money – you’ll need to consistently take at least 3 classes a week to really improve, and they aren’t cheap. Expect to be in beginner classes for the first few years.

Honestly, I have only ever seen one dancer ever become a professional in her late 20’s, and she had trained from age 3 and was in a pre-pro program for many years. She had a serious injury at age 20 which is when most dancers tend to enter companies, but landed a contract after returning to ballet in her mid 20’s and training for another few years.
