Did armor in medieval Europe emphasize female breasts?

Having looked over ~5000 armour elements from Matthias Goll’s PHD thesis a while back, I’ve never seen a single piece of European medieval armour designed to emphasize female breasts. In medieval manuscripts, the few females that are in armour, showcase either standard armour or dresses combined with visable armour covering arms and head.

What’s going on under the armor?

Sometimes we see bits of armour continuing further under the textile, but as is the case with a lot of armour in art, specially the ones involving textile, it’s virtually impossible to imagine what’s going on under it. A reoccurring greek legend involving females is the one surrounding the Amazons (female Scythians warriors).

Was the breast accent used in any real combat?

If it was ever used in real combat, it would have been quite uncommon. To my understanding, accentuating the breasts in armor creates a large weak point in the cleavage which can be punctured easily.

What’s wrong with pre-modern armor?

Last problem is that with pre-modern armor (maybe with modern vests too, not an expert on those), you need space under it – both for padding and for added protection.

In regards to armour that is specifically designed for women’s chests, this is a more recent consideration. Some modern body armours are specifically designed for women and while they do not have great drops for cleavage or molded breasts, they do show an actual rise over the chest.

What can be done to make breast armor more effective?

It is known that armor with accentuated design for breast is a bad choice in an actual confrontation. What can be changed to make “breast armor” more effective? Like materials(fictional or not), design(without changing the “breast room” completely).
