Does MIT accept community college transfers?

MIT admits a small number of interesting, talented transfer students every year. If you’ve completed two or more terms with high academic standing at an accredited college, university, technical institute or community college you may apply to MIT for transfer.

Does MIT accept credits from community college?

Credit will not be given for classes taken at a community college, junior college, extension school, or for advanced placement exams. MIT students can cross-register for classes at Harvard University and Wellesley College, and therefore do not need to request transfer credit for those classes.

You have to be the class valedictorian. You have to take 15 Advanced Placement courses and pass all the tests with top marks. You also have to be an all-state athlete or musician, preferably both, and volunteer in 20 ways to help the disadvantaged.
