Should I invest in Quantopian or quantiacs?

By contrast, Quantopian was launched by people who never worked as professional quants, and t heir main investor is Steven Cohen who pleaded guilty to the biggest insider-trading scandal in history and even had to pay a $1.8Billion fine. I trust Quantiacs more than Quantopian.

Why don’t Quantopian winners take the prize money?

On Reddit and other forums I’ve read that past winners of Quantopian have been required to sign over exclusivity of their algo in order to accept the prize winnings. For this reason, many Quantopian winners don’t actually take the prize money. Quantiacs was founded by one of the world’s top quantitative minds who is well-respected in the industry.

Do you trust Quantopian’s algorithms?

On Quantopian, I do. Quantopian advertises that they respect IP, but if you win one of their contests or get selected for investment, they send you a huge legal document and force you to assign them exclusivity of your algorithms over to them. In general I don’t trust them.
