Climate: Can’t blame the mother nature but planting ample amount of trees in the city could have avoided sun burns/ skin tag/ cancer/ feeling of the humidity itself. There are very less number of trees compared to other metro cities.

Safety : Chennai is way more safer than any North Indian city. Religious Intolerance : There is no religious groups like Shivsena or Bajarang Dal in Chennai. I do not find religiously agitated crowd here. Language: This is a Tricky Part. People generally communicate in Tamil but majority people know English as well.

Coming back to Chennai via Central involves an auto ride that takes me through Marina beach which now feels like a ‘welcome home’ sign. The sensation is quite bittersweet because you are estranged to your native place and have become more and more familiar with the new one.
