Is McGill law rolling admissions?

The online application system will open on September 30. Candidates can begin their application at that time, up until the deadline (see below). The Faculty evaluates files and makes admission decisions on a rolling basis. McGill uses an online applications system called uApply.

How long does McGill take to accept?

A. At McGill University, the timing of admission decision after submitting the application depends on the completeness of the application, supporting documents as well the program applied for. The university usually takes around eight weeks before sending out offers of admission.

Does McGill offer pre law?

The LSATs are tough, but joining the Pre-Law community at McGill doesn’t have to be.

Does McGill use Ouac?

Applicants completing an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in Canada and are registered with the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) should include their OUAC number in their application to McGill. This way we are able to retrieve your transcripts electronically.

Does McGill send acceptance letters?

McGill will evaluate all the applications you made for each program you applied to. The only acceptance letter(s) you will receive will be sent on Minerva, there will be nothing mailed to you!

Can you apply twice to McGill?

Apply online For a non-refundable fee of $125.71, you can submit up to two applications in the same term to two different programs. Certain programs require additional fees. Do not select both the Thesis option and the Non-Thesis option for the same program as you can make this change after submitting your application.

Do you have to know French to go to McGill law?

Do I need to know both English and French? Graduate level courses are offered in English, and sufficient English-language abilities must be demonstrated for admission. At McGill’s Faculty of Law, all students may choose to write essays, examinations and theses in English or in French.
