Should we rely on God?

It is important to rely on God and to remember that He is always with us. God provides help when we need it and in the ways we need it most. Sometimes He even provides help in ways we didn’t even know we needed. Countless examples in the Bible show how relying on God helps people get through all kinds of situations.

Should we rely on God for everything?

Trust and faith are the pillars of dependence on God. You already depend on God for many things. You depend on Him give you the breath of life to see another day, you depend on Him to give you the strength to go to work and you depend on Him for protection.

What does God want for each of us?

He does expect us to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. To love others as we love ourselves, and love others as Jesus loved us. God expects us to accept His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Savior. He expects us to give our lives to Him, and in so doing, develop the character of Christ.

What Bible verse says do not rely on your own strength?

“Thus says the LORD: ‘Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. ‘” The Good News: We can’t trust solely in ourselves to handle difficult situations, we must rely on God to get us through. And, physical strength is not the be all end all in life.
