Salary of an IAS Officer in India In training, officers get ₹45,000 per month. This is not a salary per say but a “special pay advance”. Meaning thereby that LBSNAA is paying them on behalf of their cadre. So, they get ₹38,500 per month from September to June.

What is the food like at LBSNAA?

The food at LBSNAA is very good. A typical menu served in a day looks like: Just before PT @6 in the morning, you have tea served in your room. Sipping hot tea in freezing cold temperature is quite soothing. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. We get a mix of South Indian and North Indian Cuisine.

LBSNAA has an elegant Officers’ Mess that caters to around 400 people during Foundation Course and 200 people during IAS Professional Course. When Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi came to LBSNAA, Gujarati dinner was organised. During cultural evenings, festivals, like Pongal, Deepawali, Zonal Days (North Zone, East Zone, West Zone and South Zone) special dinners are organised under the guidance of the Officer Trainees.
