What does it mean to experience oneness?
In essence, oneness is a feeling of interconnectedness – a transcendence of boundaries or dividers. It is usually experienced as an intense heart-opening, and awareness of the inherent goodness of all beings. We gain the ability to see beauty everywhere, in everything and everyone.
What things help us to recognize the feeling of oneness?

What is the difference between an enlightened and unenlightened person?
Enlightened people have attained the spiritual state of liberation. That means they are consciously aware of their oneness with the infinite. An unenlightened person identifies with the ego. It keeps you trapped on the surface of life in a false sense of separateness from everything you perceive.
Are spiritual experiences and enlightenment the same thing?
Spiritual experiences and enlightenment are not the same thing. Some enlightened people have these crazy spiritual experiences. It’s also possible that some don’t. Many people have all manner of intense spiritual experiences and have not crossed the threshold of enlightenment.
Is it possible to attain enlightenment?
There is no “you” to attain enlightenment. In that moment any reality of a “you” who could succeed or fail, attain or not attain, is understood to the very core to be unreal. It’s not an intellectual understanding. It does not involve the mind or thinking or evaluating or believing. You just see it.
How many enlightened people are there on the planet?
According to Meher Baba there are only fifty-six spiritual masters alive on the planet at any one time. Forty-eight of them are unknown to the public. That means only eight people on the planet are enlightened and known to be spiritual teachers.
