Infinity is not a number by definiton in the same sense as the natural numbers with which we do modular arithmetic. A sensible way to try and construct a notion of modulus for infinity is to take the limit of n \% 2 as n goes to infinty. This will yield the sequence 0,1,0,1,0,1, and so on.
