Why do people want to hide?

The brain learns well to avoid it. That’s why we reflexively hide. As adults, no longer reliant on caregivers or others for emotional and physical safety, we can relearn how to feel safe while feeling big, expansive and exuberant. We can rewire our brains and safely try again.

Why do people need to escape from situations?

People need their escape so that they can recover from the scenario they were into. This escape usually happens when people do overdose of something. It is also a cause of overdue & disproportionate activities. And urge to escape is often felt when something is in over one’s head.

According to me it is completely normal to be wanting to escape the reality. This happens when we have been through excessive mental stress and so our mind and body asks for a change.
