Why did you choose Computer Science?

Well, technically as the degree title implies, CS is not an engineering (at least not in my country) but I’d love to call it that. I chose Computer Science because I loved it. I’ve not been been a “computers guy” from very beginning. I caught this fever only 4 years ago, when I got my first PC. I was in 10th grade then.

This is the tricky part, really. Computer science requires are lot of learning and knowledge to master. It also requires a very good grasp of mathematical concepts (sometimes even abstract math). It will take a lot of effort to graduate, and that’s a fact. But this is precisely why computer science graduates are so appreciated.

The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field.
