Loved it beyond anything I expected. The food, the people, the architecture, the culture — it was bliss. The temples of Japan are beautiful. The bells, the Zen gardens, the bamboo, and the torii gates really do instill a sense of peace and serenity.

Are Japanese nice to foreigners?

For the majority of foreigners visiting Japan, yes. Most foreigners who come are visitors and stay for a very short time. Since the Japanese are trained to be polite, gracious, and hospitable, most foreigners who visit the country are so impressed by how kind and helpful the Japanese are.

Japanese traditional culture is very special and original, and it’s to present the beauty of the country. Also, Japan has developed different culture of futuristic and modern which is totally different from the former. Japan is the great example where historical/traditional and high-tech/modern can coexist.

What do you love most about Japan?
