Different archetypes can be combined provided they don’t remove the same class feature from the original base class. When you get a different class by multiclassing, you can apply that class’ archetypes to the new class as soon as you take it.

Can you use the same character in D&D?

Even if you only ever make one character and play them in every game you join, it’s not rude, if the character ‘fits’. If you re-use the same character with the same group of players over and over again, it may be rude, if your fellow players get bored of that character, however.

Can you multiclass as the same class?
